Cruise with Nickelodeon aboard even more Norwegian ships

With Nickelodeon, exclusively on Norwegian Cruise Line, there are activities for the whole family to enjoy together. And starting February 19, 2012, experience Nickelodeon aboard three Freestyle Cruising ships. So whether it's the Caribbean during Spring Break or the Holidays, or Alaska or Europe in the summer, your family will be able to enjoy Nickelodeon aboard Norwegian. It's the ideal vacation where parents relax, kids play and families connect.

Year-round, Norwegian ships that feature Nickelodeon events and activities will offer families the opportunity to:

  • Play interactive games by the pool with Team Nick
  • Participate in spontaneous messy games featuring pies, slime or even “jellyfish” with Team Nick during impromptu Splash Mobs
  • Sing, dance and go wild during Dora's Music Party.
  • Hang out and eat with SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and more during the Breakfast with Nickelodeon*.
  • On select ships, leave your pajamas on and experience Nickelodeon's Pajama Jam Character Breakfast*. Team Nick and the rest of the gang will sing and dance while your family enjoys a delicious breakfast. Free 8x10 photo included!
  • Enjoy interactive story time with Team Nick and special friends from Nickelodeon like Dora the Explorer
  • Create arts and crafts where kids and their parents can develop Nickelodeon themed crafts together
  • Or choose from the additional activities specifically designed to encourage your family to explore, play and imagine together.

The program, with its Nickelodeon-themed family events, shows, and activities, is currently in place aboard Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Epic.

"We’ve had tremendous success with the Nickelodeon-themed entertainment and programming to date on Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Jewel," said NCL CEO Kevin Sheehan in a media statement. "Families are flocking to these ships for the unique experience available to them through Nickelodeon. Based on this success, we wanted to give more families the opportunity to experience sailing with their favorite Nickelodeon characters, so we are pleased to roll out this programming on Norwegian Gem."

Norwegian Gem will sail 7-night Bahamas & Florida cruises from New York through September 1, 2012, visiting Port Canaveral (for access to the Orlando theme parks), Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian’s private island), and Nassau, Bahamas.
